CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Tickets sold by Dendy Powerhouse are subject to the following terms and conditions in addition to the Terms of Use:


1. Conditions of Entry

  1. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased from Dendy Powerhouse's authorised points of sale.
  2. Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable time during the movie.
  3. Patrons may not damage or remove any vegetation or property belonging to the venue or Dendy Powerhouse whether that vegetation or property is within or outside the designated Dendy Powerhouse site.
  4. Patrons must remain within Dendy Powerhouse's permitted areas where instructed to do so by staff.
  5. Open flames of any sort may not be brought into or used within the Dendy Powerhouse.
  6. Dendy Powerhouse reserves the right to eject any person/s who is intoxicated and/or causing a disturbance to other patrons; such person/s will not be entitled to a refund or exchange of tickets.

2. Cancellations Due to Adverse Weather

  1. Dendy Powerhouse is an outdoor event and is occasionally subject to adverse weather. We try to go ahead with screenings wherever possible, and do not cancel for light, intermittent, or potential rain.

  2. We strongly recommend customers bring wet weather gear to screenings in case of rain (note the use of umbrellas during screenings is not permitted as it obstructs the view of other audience members).

  3.  Screenings will be cancelled only if the weather poses a safety threat to patrons and staff. The decision to cancel a screening is made by the Location Manager on site and can be made at any time up to or during the screening, as weather conditions are notoriously unpredictable.

  4. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be refundable unless a screening is officially cancelled by Dendy Powerhouse.

  5. If a session is cancelled due to adverse weather, tickets are automatically refunded as account credit which can be used for a future session at any Dendy Cinema location.

  6. When a session is cancelled, customers will receive an SMS and an email to the mobile number and email address entered when purchasing tickets online.

  7. Additionally, signage will be erected at the venue notifying customers of the cancellation. Please note that Dendy Powerhouse Head Office does not receive advance notification of a cancellation due to adverse weather, and so are unable to advise customers of a cancellation.

  8. If a movie session is cancelled or terminated due to mechanical breakdown, technical issues or reasons other than adverse weather conditions, then Dendy will refund the tickets as account credit which can be used for a future session at any Dendy Cinema location.

  9. Staff working at Dendy Powerhouse are not able to process refunds on site.
