Welcome to Paradise! Experience the best of queer cinema at MELT ON SCREEN, only at Dendy Powerhouse Outdoor Cinema, as part of the Melt Festival 2024 running October 23 to November 10, with a lineup of films aiming to foster inclusivity, provoke thought and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community! 

The program is packed with laughs, thrills and of course a touch of the classics. Opening Night will kick off with the punchy drama HEART OF THE MAN, with writer/director David Cook and cast members Parker Little, Roxanne McDonald (Aunty Roxy) and Matt Young (who will also serve as moderator) for a post-screening Q&A. The festival also features Australian Drama STRANGE CREATURES and the poignant and raw documentary QUEENDOM, and, when the MELT Pride River Parade docks at Brisbane Powerhouse, we’ll be continuing the party with our 30th Anniversary Screening of THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, hosted by your favourite drag-queen Maxi-Bon!
