Don your big suits and drive your large automobiles to Dendy Powerhouse Outdoor Cinema on Saturday, March 9 for our special screening of the iconic Talking Heads concert STOP MAKING SENSE as part of the 2024 ΩHM Festival at Brisbane Powerhouse. Stunningly restored in 4K to coincide with its 40th anniversary, Jonathan Demme’s 1984 production is widely considered as the greatest concert film of all time. Shot over the course of three nights at Hollywood's Pantages Theater in December 1983, re-live the magic of Talking Heads' most memorable songs, just the same as it ever was, on the big screen at Dendy’s unique outdoor cinema experience. Doors open at 6pm with the screening to commence at last night.

A concert film documenting Talking Heads at the height of their popularity, on tour for their 1983 album "Speaking in Tongues." The band takes the stage one by one and is joined by a cadre of guest musicians for a career-spanning and cinematic performance that features creative choreography and visuals.
